My Cowboy Bebop Page

Introduction To Page
I am a fan of a TV show.  Thus, like a true (or otherwise) fan, I have taken it upon myself to create a fanpage.  Now, I typically regard fan pages as pasttimes for losers.  Then, I realized, I'm sorta a loser.  Thus, I created this intro just to let you know this.
***
Like most Americans, I got into Cowboy Bebop when it was shown on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.  Since it's first airing, I was a fan.  I watched it religiously and took a warmth to it.  When I heard about The Perfect Sessions L.E. Bowed Set, I had to have it.  But I had to save up my money first.  After a couple weeks, I went online to buy.  Sadly, I had waited too long and was out of luck.  I went to my local Suncoast Video store and asked if they had any in stock.  They did not, but I put $15 down and they tried to preorder it for me.  After a couple more weeks, it had still not come in and it didn't look like it would.  So I went back online in search, but there was mostly just a bunch of greedy fuckers who wanted $300 (or more) for the set.
As a last attempt, I went onto Half.com and searched there.  And I was floored.  There it was, a sultry $120, thus it was perfect.  I purchased it and crossed my fingers.  And I wasn't disappointed.  Not in the slightest.  Instead, I am very thankful.
So here I am, in possession of 3 of the greatest DVDs ever.  And with them, I forge this fanpage.  And you, you shall enjoy it (or die).

Introduction to Cowboy Bebop
taken from The Prefect Sessions L.E. DVD Boxed Set
Jazz agers, flower children, lost generation, beatniks, rockers, punks, hackers, lovers, generation X - whatever the designation, there have always been outlaws in our society who live in pursuit of autonomy.
At times they are revered for their roles as pioneers, challenging the unknown; other times people concider them lawless desperados and a dangerous presence.
Yet, really, it is their exuberant music and an autonomy founded to express opinions different from those of others that set them apart from the rest of society.

The Year 2071 AD.  That future is now.  Driven out of their terrestial eden, humanity chose the stars as the final frontier.
With the section-by-section collapse of the former nations a mixed jumble of races and peoples came.  They spread to the stars, taking with them the now confused concepts of freedom, violence, illegality and love, where new rules and a new generation of outlaws came into being.  People referred to them as Cowboy Bebops....

Too much time has passed by to
Lament that we were deeply in love.
The wind keeps blowing, while my heart
Cannot heal all the tears in it.
Someone cry for me with parched eyes.

The real folk blues.
I only want to know what true sadness is.
Sitting in muddy water
Isn't such a bad life
If it ends after the first time...
