Magic the Gathering

Paul and Chris got me into Magic, so I now start my journey into aquiring more cards to make more decks. I've compiled a few things that help me keep things organized. That and it kept me busy for a whole day.

Wednesday, Mar. 31, 2004: Bought 2 more

Mirrodin expansion packs (+75, x2) today. I also bought some some card sleeves for my Mirrodin foil cards. Updated my progress on my Myr deck, too.

Monday, Mar. 29, 2004: Played a few rounds of Magic against Paul, Chris, and Josh. Then Paul and I played against each other. I used my Goblin deck, which is pretty much my the only deck I have assembled. I'm not good at making decks, other then my Myr pet-project.

Sunday, Mar. 28, 2004: Decided that I wanted to collect all the Mirrodin Foil cards, today. Then went to Pegasus Games to purchase more cards with Josh, Chris, and Paul. Paul got in his deck an $80 Mirrodin Foil, the most expensive foil in the whole series. He's gonna sell it to me for $10. Will add a page on later siting my Mirrodin progress. Played several games against Paul, Chris, & Josh. Me and Paul played late into the next day.

Saturday, Mar. 27, 2004: Went shopping around Madison looking at the places that sell Magic cards. Left a list for a price check on 'sliver' cards at Pegasus Games. Will pick up later. Decided to look into completing my official Artifact Deck (Myr). The idea was created by Daniel Blount. It's a work in progress, it will take about $25 to complete. I also bought 2

Mirrodin expansion packs (+75, x2). Then updated my card inventory. Swung back to Pegasus Games to buy some card containers. I got 1 & ordered 5 more which I'll pick up later.

Thursday, Mar. 25, 2004: Played a game against Josh, Paul, and Chris. Didn't win, but I took out Josh before I died. Played against Paul a couple of times. I think I won both times. I used my premade deck (Goblin Mob). I then slapped together another artifact deck that I never used. Took it apart later.

Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2004: After work, I swung over to Pegasus to get my 3 additional Storage Matrix cards and then bought an additional

Scourge 'Goblin Mob' deck.

Monday, Mar. 15, 2004: Played against Paul, Josh, & Paul. Lost mostly ever game, but I did play one game where I got 100 life. Setting the highest score in game history (at least in our group, there are probably other losers out there who have played a game and got much more). Also bought 2 more decks ('Speed Scorch' & 'Sacrificial Bam') and 2 more boosters. Then I bought my first single card (Storage Matrix)

Monday, Mar. 8, 2004: Played several games of Magic against Paul, Chris, Little Dude, and Josh. Won only 1 game because I teamed up with 2 other players. Lost all others. Played mostly with Paul's land destruction deck. Quickly completed my Myr deck, tested it out a couple of times with Paul. Needs tweeking. Paul gave me a couple more cards.

Saturday, Mar. 6, 2004: Recieved 5 more cards from Chris (slivers and myr) and 2 more from Paul. Played a game against Paul and lost.

Wednesday, Mar. 3, 2004: Played a couple games against Paul, who gave me 9 more cards (1 black, 8 green). Redid my Green / White deck. Got my ass kicked in every game we played.
